Au Plus Petit Cirque du Monde (PPCM) de Bagneux, j’ai eu la chance d’assister à la répétition du spectacle de circassiens: Antipodes. Hip hop, danse et même en dehors des répétitions, saut sur trampoline. Un vrai pari: arriver à capter le mouvement. La musique et l’énergie de la troupe qui participe au Festival Hip Cirq m’a portée. Exercice passionnant, quoiqu’un peu frustant.
It was a real challenge to try and sketch moving hip hop dancers during their rehearsal at the PPCM, a circus in Bagneux. I really enjoyed it, it was great fun but a bit frustrating. The music and the energy of all helped me a lot.
Tonight I’ll see the real show. More drawings to come.
